Marion Deuchars is an award-winning illustrator with an instantly-recognisable and much-loved style. Marion has worked for Unicef, Penguin Books, The Guardian, The Independent, Volkswagen, Formula 1 and many other clients, and of course produces illustrations and jackets for many books.
From Jamie Oliver to Trinny and Susannah, to catalogues (the best we’ve ever seen, frankly) for 4th Estate, to entire imprints (for Losada) and the simply wonderful “You’re An Animal, Viskovitz” and several of Canongate’s Myths – her publishing work is unparalleled. It also manages – effortlessly – to have a distinct style, both of illustration and handwriting, that always feels fresh.
Marion’s site is a record of her work in publishing, in editorial, design and advertising, and also showcases her sketchbooks and studio space, with photographs by Tom Thompson and Ferdi Carabott. Some of her personal photos are also in the pages.
