Mitch Albom – For One More Day

For One More Day screengrab

Here’s a new thing.

The thing is a holding page for a project we’ve got coming out in the autumn, for the absolutely-huge-selling author Mitch Albom.

We’re working on a site for the paperback release of his current title, For One More Day, and it’s in production at the moment. (You can read an extract from the introduction on the site.)

It’s a bit of a departure for us in some ways, in other ways not. Departure because it’s for an established author and title, and in a market that is already really well-developed. And that’s what makes it such an exciting job – the reach is potentially huge. As a point of illustration, For One More Day was the first ever book to be selected as a Starbucks book of the month in the states…

Usually this scale of author means pretty staid and safe marketing. But in this case it means some real investment in ideas, experimentation and doing stuff you just can’t do with first time authors or corporate sites. So we’re thrilled to be working with a very progressive and ambitious client, as well as with an author whose reach surpasses many other project’s ambitions. The idea we’re working on is a departure as well, but you’ll need to watch this space.

Suffice to say, we’re working with Hoss on this one again, which means good things….
