A new video by Michael Wesch, whose film last year The Machine is Us/ing Us explained the new interconnectivity of the web so brilliantly.

This time he’s taken as his theme the new digital (dis)order, as described in David Weinberger’s excellent recent book Everything is Miscellaneous.

We’ve been talking a lot about tagging and similar strategies recently, trying to see how it is valuable, if and why it should be used. The phrase “allowing the information to find us” is a good summary of one of the things we’re trying to achieve in some of our recent work.
