Hi,
I'd just like to say that, despite the grief you may have be getting about the voting system, the coversourcing competition has been very enjoyable. I got involved quite early on and have been very abosorbed by it - the website in particular is very nice. It seems there are lots of people keen to criticise (but not in their real name), so I thought I'd do the opposite.

Hi Samuel

I hear you - the earlier entries will indeed have the chance to get more votes. However, the Top 20 is selected on average score: so one with 5 votes, but all of them a 5 (out of 5 stars), will rank higher than one with a thousand votes and an average of one. The two week voting period after entry is to allow some of this stuff to settle back down.

Indeed, there is an argument that an "old" entry with lots of votes has a harder job - as each vote for it makes less of an impact on the average, either up or down. But let's ignore that for now.

But thanks for the comment. It ain't perfect - but it's the best we've got. Thanks for your input!

Just wanted to say if you submitted early I think
that there is a chance for that entry to get more
votes. How can someone that entered just a few
weeks ago compete with an entry that's been on the
site for a couple of months.
