Apt’s links for October 1st through October 3rd
- Hands on with Sony’s new PRS-700 digital reader | Crave, the gadget blog – CNET – “Like the iPhone and other next-gen touch-screen phones that have been appearing lately, the Reader incorporates some gesture-based commands. You can swipe your finger across the display to page forward or back (you can choose between a left or right swipe to advance pages in the settings menu). Swiping and holding your finger down at the end of the swipe allows you to advance or rewind through pages at a fast clip. ” Seems like Sony realise the battle is with the iPhone *and* the Kindle. Still – no wireless?
- A Novel Approach – ARTINFO.com – Nice work Mr Frey. I love Ed Ruscha.
- Multicolr Search Lab – Idée Inc. – Very pretty and possibly useful. Thanks Hoss. Find Flickr photos (CC licensed) by colour
- Christopher Doyle ? – the johnson banks thought for the week – Mildly entertaining.
- 10th Birthday – I guess things move really, very fast. Do check out their one-month-only presentation of the search index for 2001 as well.
